
School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Cranston, Rhode Island

This contract opportunity is ideal for LPNs/LVNs with school-based experience, eager to make a difference through dedicated 1:1 care. Your assignment includes working closely with an elementary-aged student during both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the following school year (NSY), ensuring continuous, compassionate support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid LPN or LVN license in Rhode Island
- Previous pediatric experience, especially in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and the ability to work independently in a 1:1 setting
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and health monitoring for one elementary school student
- Follow and implement individualized healthcare plans
- Administer prescribed medications and support daily activities
- Collaborate with school staff and the student’s family for seamless care
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
Work Schedule:
- ESY: July 6th, 2026 – July 30th, 2026, Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm
- NSY: Begins August 26th, 2026, full-time hours
