This part-time, onsite contract opportunity requires experienced, credentialed professionals ready to jump into a fast-paced setting with an immediate start from July 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026.

What You Bring:

  • Active Registered Nurse licensure and school nurse certification in New Jersey (RN, School Nurse, School Nursing-RN)
  • Prior experience working with student populations in a school environment (clinical-only backgrounds are not sufficient)
  • Availability for a part-time schedule (20 hours per week), with onsite presence required for all shifts
  • Willingness to support multiple schools as district-wide coverage is needed
  • Up-to-date physical, TB test results, and fingerprinting for both agency and district compliance
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a collaborative, student-centered environment

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Delivering nursing care and health education to students and staff
  • Responding to health emergencies and managing care for chronic and acute conditions
  • Providing screenings, immunization record reviews, and health documentation
  • Supporting school-wide health programs and collaborating with educators and families
  • Maintaining comprehensive health records in accordance with protocols and regulations
  • Participating in in-person or Zoom interviews during the hiring process

Schedules include four daytime positions from 8:30AM12:30PM and one evening/night school nurse opening (hours TBD), allowing some flexibility to match your lifestyle.
