Qualifications & Experience Desired:

Current RN license with valid credentials in Massachusetts
Prior experience as a school nurse or strong interest in pediatric nursing
Familiarity with ventilator care and managing complex medical needs
Comfortable with 1:1 nursing assignments and a collaborative, team-focused approach
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with families and school staff
BLS/CPR certification (required); additional pediatric certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering attentive, individualized nursing care to a medically fragile student throughout the school day
Monitoring and managing ventilator, mobility needs, and medication according to care plan
Serving as a resource and advocate for the student within the educational setting
Collaborating with the family, teaching staff, and allied professionals to support inclusion and safety
Maintaining accurate documentation of care and adhering to all nursing and school protocols
