As a Registered Nurse on the Ambulatory Surgery Unit, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessments, surgical preparation, recovery monitoring, and discharge education to support safe transitions home.
The unit operates Monday through Friday with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, offering a predictable schedule and excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities
- Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process and clinical expertise to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Assesses patient and family needs, develops individualized plans of care, and coordinates services to ensure continuity of care.
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments and utilizes critical thinking to make sound clinical decisions.
- Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Provides age-appropriate patient and family education, utilizing effective teaching strategies to support understanding and recovery.
- Accurately completes and maintains timely documentation to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.
- Promotes a safe environment by adhering to established policies, procedures, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards.
Education:
- Diploma from an RN program.
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
- Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must possess and maintain ACLS
