Respiratory Nurse (LPN/RN)

Full-Time | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Summary:

AristaCare is seeking compassionate and clinically skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Respiratory Care Unit.

The Respiratory Nurse provides specialized care to residents requiring respiratory support, including tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, pulmonary treatments, and ventilator management. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses interested in working in a higher-acuity setting and developing specialized respiratory care skills.

Previous respiratory experience is preferred. Training will be provided to qualified candidates. All respiratory duties are performed under the guidance of the Respiratory Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to residents with respiratory and pulmonary conditions.

  • Monitor residents receiving ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and oxygen therapy.

  • Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning.

  • Administer prescribed medications, nebulizer treatments, and respiratory interventions.

  • Monitor respiratory status and promptly report changes or concerns.

  • Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care.

  • Assist with emergency respiratory interventions when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Pennsylvania LPN or RN license in good standing.

  • Current CPR/BLS certification.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility, subacute care, LTACH, rehabilitation, or hospital setting.

  • Experience caring for residents with tracheostomies and ventilator support.
