Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid RN license in Washington State
  • Previous experience in school nursing or similar pediatric healthcare environments is highly valued
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage medical emergencies and chronic health conditions efficiently and compassionately
  • Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and across multiple school sites
  • Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage acute and chronic student health issues
  • Administer medications, perform first aid, and respond to medical emergencies as needed
  • Develop individual health care plans for students with specialized medical needs
  • Conduct health screenings and coordinate immunization compliance
  • Educate students, families, and staff on wellness and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students
