Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Edison, NJ

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity as a licensed nurse supporting students during transportation to and from school. This part-time role offers 25 hours per week for the 2026/2027 academic year, focusing on dedicated 1:1 care for elementary and high school students with seizure disorders.

Key Qualifications:

Previous hands-on experience providing seizure care is essential
Current NJ RN or LPN license (compact license holders welcome)
Ability to legally work in the United States
Successful completion of background check and drug screening

What Youll Do:

Oversee the safe transport of students with seizure disorders between home and school
Administer immediate care and interventions if seizures occur during transit
Monitor students closely for any health changes and ensure a safe, reassuring environment
Keep clear communication with school staff, families, and transportation providers
Maintain accurate, confidential documentation regarding student status and any incidents
