Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered LPN license
  • Experience or strong interest working with children or in school settings
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate health records
  • Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Previous pediatric or school nursing experience is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care, administer prescribed medication, and provide first aid for injuries or illness
  • Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and allergies
  • Maintain thorough and confidential student health records
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents on student care plans and emergency procedures
  • Promote health education and wellness initiatives throughout the school community
  • Respond promptly to health concerns and emergencies within the school
  • Support compliance with state and district health policies
