A respected post-acute and rehabilitation center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its clinical leadership team. This position is ideal for a nurse leader who excels in quality improvement, regulatory readiness, clinical oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The successful candidate will help drive operational excellence while promoting a culture of accountability, resident-centered care, and continuous improvement.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

Partner with nursing leadership to support day-to-day clinical operations
Monitor quality indicators and identify opportunities for performance improvement
Lead investigations related to incidents, accidents, and resident concerns
Review clinical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
Support facility-wide preparedness for state and federal surveys
Assist with implementation and monitoring of quality assurance initiatives
Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote best practices and professional growth
Collaborate with department leaders to address clinical and operational challenges
Track trends and develop action plans to improve outcomes and reduce risk

Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse license
Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality measures
Experience with audits, investigations, and performance improvement initiatives
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
