Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time contract position in the Cheyenne area. This role spans the complete 2026/2027 academic school year (August 10, 2026 May 28, 2027), providing essential health services and medical supervision to a diverse student community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and medical supervision to students within the secondary school setting.

  • Administer medications, manage individual healthcare plans (IHPs), and maintain accurate, compliant medical records.

  • Respond to acute medical situations, injuries, and health emergencies with clinical confidence.

  • Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to foster a safe, healthy learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Active Wyoming (WY) Registered Nurse License.

  • Appropriate Wyoming State Department of Education Permit (or verified eligibility to obtain).

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) and valid CPR/BLS Certification.

  • Prior experience in pediatric nursing, community health, or school health services is highly preferred.
