Required Qualifications:

Valid and active LPN license in Georgia
Prior experience as an LPN/LVN, preferably within a school or pediatric setting
Proficient and comfortable delivering 1:1 care in accordance with clinical best practices
Strong background in monitoring vital signs, tube feeding, ADL assistance, and management of chronic health conditions
Confidence in seizure oversight, VNS support, asthma management, and use of medical equipment such as suction machines

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee health and safety for one student during school hours, fostering a supportive and caring environment
Administer and monitor tube feedings, regularly assess and document the students health status
Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living and transfers
Monitor for seizure activity and provide appropriate interventions, including VNS support
Manage asthma action plans, employ suction equipment as needed, and respond promptly to changing health concerns
Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and collaborate with educational staff as appropriate
