Seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract assignment providing one-on-one care to a student in a school setting near Kennesaw, GA. Key Qualifications:

Current and active LPN license in Georgia
Prior experience in school nursing or with pediatric clients preferred
Skilled and confident managing complex caseloads, including tube feeding, vital signs monitoring, support with ADLs (activities of daily living), and physical transfers
Demonstrated proficiency in seizure management, VNS assistance, as well as asthma and respiratory care, including use of a suction machine
Meticulous with documentation and communication

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 care to an assigned student throughout the school day
Continuously monitor and track vital signs, respond to changes as needed
Administer and manage tube feedings and provide necessary assessments
Assist with all daily living activities and support safe transfers
Implement seizure safety protocols and offer VNS assistance as required
Manage asthma treatment and be prepared to utilize suction equipment when necessary
Maintain clear, accurate records of care and interventions
