Cancer Care Northwest is a full-spectrum private oncology group in the stunning Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our multispecialty physician owned practice. Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully an individual must:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatment in accordance with established protocols.
- Accurately position patients and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan.
- Assist the radiation therapy department with patient care, treatment delivery, treatment records, radiation safety, and quality assurance functions.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process.
- Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment.
- Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed including the hospital setting.
- Dedication to patient care and safety.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience actively practicing as an RTT. ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be present at the employee site during regularly scheduled business hours and regularly required to sit or stand and talk or hear. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Work Environment: The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
Salary Range DOE - $44.22 - $66.33
