Make a difference as a dedicated nurse supporting a preschool students health and wellbeing throughout an engaging school year. Your primary responsibilities will be providing direct nursing care to a student who requires PRN suctioning, tube feeding, seizure monitoring, and medical oversight on the school bus. Youll start each day by meeting the student at home, ensuring safe travel to and from the Lower Southampton Early Learning Center. Collaborating with educators, families, and related services, youll help create an environment where the child feels supported and ready to thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current State Nursing Licensure (LPN or RN, per state regulations).
- Proven experience and comfort level working with vents, g-tubes, and trachs.
- At least one completed Medical Supervisor reference is required with your submission.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities.
- Ability to follow the school calendar, including all scheduled student days.
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the students individualized health plan.
- PRN suctioning, tube feed administration, and seizure monitoring.
- Safe transport supervision, including riding the bus with the student.
- Effective collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families.
- Meticulous documentation of all care provided.
