Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized nursing care to a designated student with complex health needs during school hours and bus transportation, when required
Implement physician-ordered medical interventions and monitor student health throughout the school day
Communicate regularly with families, educators, and healthcare teams to create a supportive environment
Document care provided and report on health status as needed
Respond promptly to health concerns, emergencies, and situations requiring medical attention
Assist the student in participating as fully as possible in school life

Qualifications & Skills:

Active RN license in the state
Prior experience working as an RN in a school setting or pediatric environment preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Competence in providing care for medically fragile individuals, including medication administration, g-tube feeding, or respiratory care
Compassion, patience, and the ability to advocate for student needs
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
Willingness to provide bus transportation care as needed
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
