Job Title: School-Based Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Kansas City, Missouri Area
Job Type: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday Friday (Daytime Hours)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a school-based setting within the Kansas City area. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support student health, promote wellness, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency care plans
  • Monitor student health records and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with school staff and external providers as needed
  • Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and preventative care
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)
  • Previous pediatric, school-based, or community health experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on district)
