Job Title: School-Based Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Kansas City, Missouri Area
Job Type: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday Friday (Daytime Hours)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a school-based setting within the Kansas City area. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support student health, promote wellness, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency care plans
Monitor student health records and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with school staff and external providers as needed
Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and preventative care
Ensure compliance with all health regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)
Previous pediatric, school-based, or community health experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on district)
