As a Home Health Aide, you’ll improve the quality of life for patients in a variety of circumstances. You’ll visit your patients in their homes - a place that’s typically most comfortable for them. HHAs help patients who are working on physical rehabilitation by helping them bathe, perform personal cares (including toileting and incontinence needs), dressing changes, mild exercises, and light housekeeping when necessary. This work will help provide a healthy, safe environment for healing. You’ll also visit hospice patients and help them approach end of life with dignity and comfort. This Home Health Aide position will primarily serve patients in the St. Cloud and surrounding areas.

Schedule

  • Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks 
  • Various days Monday - Friday | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm 
  • Every 7th weekend and rotating holidays  
     

Pay and Benefits

  • Starting pay begins at $19.74 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range: $17.70 - $26.54 per hour

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in MN required
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
  • Reliable transportation, Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage required
  • Home Health Aide certificate and some home care experience preferred

Responsibilities Resident Care Aide - Home Health Aide (HHA): Ability to assist residents with Daily Living Activities as needed that may include meal assistance, grooming, medication management, showering, dressing/undressing, toileting, skin care. Ability to use hands, arms and fingers in repeated motions that include ability to feel or operate objects, tools, or controls including grasping and turning motions. Ability to move and walk quickly and steadily in an emergency situation. Ability to assist with wheelchair transport of resident(s). Ability to apply/utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Responsible for responding immediately to residents’ requests.
