This contract position spans the academic school year, serving pre-kindergarten through 2nd-grade students onsite. Youll work full-time hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, providing dedicated medical care and health education as part of a collaborative campus environment.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Demonstrated background in school-based nursing or similar pediatric experience
Ability to fulfill a full-time weekday schedule onsite without modification
Completion of fingerprinting and CORI process required prior to start
Reliable transportation to and from work
Comfortable stepping into a campus nurse role for grades PreK through 2nd
Strong communication skills; capable of responding compassionately to young students needs

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver routine healthcare and emergency response for students and staff during school hours
Administer medications, manage chronic health conditions, and support individualized health plans for students
Serve as a resource for health information and wellness promotion among children and school personnel
Maintain accurate health records and ensure strict confidentiality
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a safe and healthy learning environment
