We’re seeking a strong and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure the highest standards of resident care. If you’re a licensed RN with leadership experience and a passion for long-term care, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Duties:

Supervise and manage all aspects of the nursing department
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and care standards
Assess resident needs and oversee individualized care plans
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Conduct rounds, evaluate care, and initiate corrective actions
Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and administration
Oversee budget planning and resource allocation
Lead educational programs and staff development initiatives

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current RN license (BSN preferred)
Experience in long-term care preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically active environment

Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis. 6. Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process. 7. Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in the physician’s plan of care. 8. Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs. 9. Fulfills the obligation of requested and/or accepted case assignments. 6. Actively participates in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities. Job Title/Position : Registered Nurse POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 1. Graduate of National League of Nursing accredited school of nursing. 2. Current licensure in State. 3. Registered nurses shall have a minimum of (a) one (1) year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three (3) years; OR have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League of Nursing and a current RN license.
