Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students’ health and well-being as a contracted School Nurse (RN) for the upcoming academic year. What we’re looking for:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN) licensure in New Jersey
Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric settings strongly preferred
Familiarity with the Genesis charting system highly desirable
Confidence managing a health room independently
Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Commitment to nurturing student health, confidentiality, and inclusivity

Core responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care and triage for illness, injuries, and chronic conditions
Administer routine medications and treatments per physician orders
Document all health room visits and interventions accurately
Develop individual health plans as needed and participate in 504/IHP meetings
Serve as a resource to school staff regarding student health matters
Promote healthy habits and collaborate with the advisory nursing team when complex cases arise
