Responsibilities

Promotes and maintains the health of designated patients by implementing and assisting in coordination of quality patient care under the direction of the supervising licensed nurse or physician. Incumbents are responsible for shifts as scheduled to complete required number of clinical hours as outlined by the nursing program.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Enrolled in a Board approved nursing education program

Obtained approval and competency validation of Board approved nursing skills from the nursing educational program

 

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

 

BLS

Student Practical Nurse Apprentice 2 requires the following:

  • Meets all Student Practical Nurse Apprentice 1 requirements
  • Proficient in all basic competencies
  • Completed 7 credit hours of Response to Invention (RTI) (Fundamentals Concepts of Nursing)
