Two contract positions are available, each located in Romeoville: one in a high school (7:15 a.m. – 2:25 p.m.) and one in an elementary school (8:25 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.), each offering 37.5 hours per week during the academic year from August 2026 to May 2027.

In this vital role, you’ll manage daily operations of the health office, perform comprehensive medical reviews, and actively engage in IEP and 504 planning to support students’ health needs. Your expertise will ensure smooth coordination across staff, students, and families to foster a safe, healthy environment for learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) plus PEL endorsement for Certified School Nurse (completion of specialized CSN coursework required—more than just an RN license)
Experience in school nursing or as a CSN highly preferred
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) skills considered a major asset
Demonstrated flexibility, dependability, and a genuine team-oriented approach

High standard of attendance and reliability

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the health office, responding to acute and chronic student health needs
