Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students for the upcoming school year! We're seeking two dedicated Certified School Nurses (CSNs) or CSN students to provide expert care, health office management, and holistic support at the high school and elementary levels. Collaborate closely with educators, students, and families to help ensure every student has safe and effective access to education.

As a CSN, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the school health office, conducting comprehensive medical reviews, and playing a key role in the IEP and 504 processes. Your compassionate approach, clinical expertise, and commitment to collaboration will be crucial in fostering a positive environment and supporting student success. Both roles are located in Romeoville, offering a consistent weekday schedule:

  • High School: 7:15 a.m. – 2:25 p.m.
  • Elementary School: 8:25 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) plus PEL endorsement for Certified School Nurse status (not just RN licensure)

  • Experience as a school nurse, with management of health office, medical reviews, and involvement in IEP and 504 processes
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills highly valued
  • Strong track record of reliability and attendance

This contract runs from approximately August 2026 through May 2027, spanning 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year.
