Qualifications and Skills:

Prefer 1,000 hours of long-term care with geriatric or chronically ill persons
- Exceptions to this requirement are for recently licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Personal Care Aid (PCA),
- caring for a family member or persons who will only be providing companionship and housekeeping services.
Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by state) and a drug screen.
This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position and subject to applicable state and federal regulations.

The On-Call Caregiver is responsible for being available to provide immediate caregiving support when scheduled caregivers are unavailable, call off, or when emergency client coverage is needed. This role ensures continuity of care for clients by stepping in on short notice while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and high-quality care standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Available & Responsive: Remain available during assigned "on-call" hours. (Friday 5pm-Monday 7am) Respond promptly to calls, texts, or messages regarding shifts. Prepared to travel to client in our service area (Little Rock, Benton, North Little Rock, Jacksonville, Maumelle, etc.) Client Care: Provide non-medical in home care services... Examples of care: personal care, assistance with mobility and transfers, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, assisting with errands as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet all state requirements for non-medical caregivers. Ability to travel to different client locations. Ability to respond to coverage needs on short notice.
