SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for evaluating, providing and improving nursing services for patients through efficient and effective planning, directing, coordinating and controlling of material and human resources in the Intensive Care Unit to include Dialysis

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Four (4) years clinical experience required.
  • Six (6) months experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.
  • Progressive leadership experience required.
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Masters Degree in Nursing or other related field preferred.

What You Need as an RN Nurse Manager: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Registered Nurse). Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing and/or Master's degree is preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing required. Two years recent nursing experience in a long term care environment including satisfactory experience in a leadership role required. Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care facilities preferred. Recent experience in dementia care. Positive interpersonal skills required.
