Qualifications

Must have graduated from an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

A current Board of Nursing License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state practicing

A valid Board of Nursing License as a Registered Nurse in the state practicing

Must maintain current BLS certification

Current Florida APRN license

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification required or Family Health Nurse Practitioner with prior pediatric experience

Prior pediatric clinic experience required

Responsibilities

Focuses on patient and family education and assists patients and their families in their efforts toward recovery and rehabilitation
