1:1 Registered Nurse RN School Nurse

Full-Time School Registered Nurse (RN) 1:1 Student Support | House Springs, MO

We're hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 1:1 school-based position in House Springs, MO for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide dedicated nursing care and support to a kindergarten student throughout the school day while helping them safely access their education.

Position Details:

  • Location: House Springs, MO
  • School Year: 2026-2027
  • Schedule: Full-Time, 30 hours/week
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
  • School Setting: Elementary School

Student Needs:
You'll provide individualized nursing care for an incoming kindergarten student in a private placement severe developmental disability classroom. Experience with or knowledge of the following is preferred:

  • G-tube care and feeding
  • Chronic lung disease
  • Mild heart condition
  • Scoliosis
  • Sleep disorders (reverse circadian cycle)
  • Bainbridge-Ropers syndrome (preferred but not required)

Qualifications:

  • Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Previous pediatric and/or school nursing experience preferred
  • Experience with G-tubes strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
