You will be the students primary RN, ensuring safety and well-being throughout the school day. Preferred background and qualifications:

  • Valid RN license
  • School nursing experience or strong desire to work in a school
  • Experience with or knowledge of:
    • Bainbridge-Ropers syndrome
    • Chronic lung disease
    • Mild heart conditions
    • Scoliosis
    • Reverse circadian cycles (sleep disorders)
    • G-Tube dependency and feeding procedures
  • Collaborative spirit with educators and families
  • Outstanding communication and observational skills

Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 nursing support to the assigned Kindergarten student
  • Administer medications, manage G-Tube feeds, and monitor vital signs as needed
  • Implement individual health care plans and emergency protocols
  • Support student engagement in classroom activities while prioritizing health and comfort
  • Maintain accurate health records and communicate updates to caregivers and the educational team
