Assistant Director of Nursing
Job Summary
Concord Care of Hartford, a premier long-term care company operating twenty-one facilities throughout Ohio, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at its Fowler, Ohio location. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, the ADON will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care, promoting a positive team environment, and upholding our mission to provide the highest quality care to our residents and their families.
Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between the Director of Nursing and the nursing staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Participate in the development and achievement of nursing department goals and objectives, contributing to the overall success of the facility
Assist in the implementation of and monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice consistent with corporate and external regulatory guidelines
Provide direct resident care as staffing patterns demand, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care and compassion
Act as a resource person and role model for nursing staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment
Ensure effective interaction with residents and families, fostering strong relationships and trust
Attend and participate in department/facility meetings as required, staying informed and engaged in facility operations
Assist surveyors and inspectors to facilitate regulatory compliance, as per the direction of the director of Clinical Services

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related field
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
