Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in Minnesota
Public Health Nurse license
School Nurse license issued by the Board of Teaching
Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills for overseeing multiple school sites
Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach to student care

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing services to students and staff across multiple campuses
Assess health needs, develop care plans, and provide direct nursing interventions as necessary
Promote disease prevention and health education within the school community
Maintain thorough and compliant health records and documentation
Coordinate with district leaders, teachers, and families to support students with chronic conditions or emergent health needs
Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide crisis intervention when required
Ensure compliance with state and district health mandates and protocols
