Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

Cedar Point Care & Rehabilitation, located in Clyde, OH, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents. As a key leader in our nursing department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent patient care and adherence to policies and procedures.

  • Develop and implement effective departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to improve patient outcomes and reduce risk.

  • Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient charts, staffing schedules, and departmental statistics.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance patient care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, with a strong background in patient care and management.

  • Current RN license and valid driver's license.

  • Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
