American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room - First Assist for a weekday day shift position requiring a CNOR certification and a minimum of 2 years of first assist OR experience. Job details: - Hospital operating room setting - Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday - Floating to the main OR is required as needed - No shift accommodations available — 8-hour shifts are required Requirements: - Active Massachusetts RN license required - Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and CNOR - BSN required - Minimum 2 years of recent First Assist Operating Room experience required - Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred - Must possess a personal vehicle for this assignment - Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position - One supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration - First Assist OR skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration Additional information: - Performs first assist duties in an operating room environment - Certifications must be active and on hand — the facility will not pend certifications - All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; scheduling requests will not be approved after an offer is extended and may result in a rescinded offer - No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
