Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position, requiring a NJ or compact RN license and at least one year of cardiovascular or critical care experience. Job details: - Position is in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a hospital setting - Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures - Day shift from 07:00 to 15:30 - Monitors physiological and hemodynamic data during procedures - Works with physicians and multidisciplinary team members in a high-acuity environment Requirements: - Active NJ or compact RN license required - Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required - At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required - Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required, can be completed through approved resources - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Additional information: - Provides direct care and continuous monitoring throughout cardiovascular lab procedures - Responsibilities include equipment checks, supply management, and ensuring readiness of procedure rooms - Involved in performance improvement and quality initiatives - Must monitor and record patients' conditions continuously while in the Cath Lab - May be required to assist with equipment maintenance and inventory control - Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on facility needs - Candidates who are local will receive the same pay rate as travelers
