We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As a leader in our nursing team, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the highest standards of care for our residents, while working closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to support and lead our dedicated nursing team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and resident satisfaction
• Collaborate with the DON to develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure staff adherence to standards of care and resident needs are being met

Duties Description As a Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 position will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Treatment Team Leaders to provide input on health related performance issues. Reviews criteria and regulatory standards for the Nursing Review Tool and Guidelines and assists in Implementing. Works closely with the Director of Nursing with any intervention or action needed. Works directly with the Director of Nursing to update/develop and implement nursing related policies and procedures, nursing programs, and nursing related training programs. Attend regular nursing personnel meetings and disseminate information as needed. Assist with administrative investigations, medication errors and other issues as assigned. Participates in and assist with regulatory review activities, coordinate, and provide mentoring for new nurses in the Finger Lakes region if the RN Supervisor 1 of the area needs assistance.
