Based near Elgin, IL, you'll have the opportunity to work in-person across varied school settings, providing care and guidance to students from early childhood through grade 12.

With assignments and caseload varying based on location and need, this role is perfect for adaptable, compassionate Registered Nurses who thrive in dynamic environments. Scheduling flexibility is key, as start and end times shift depending on your assigned school. A guaranteed weekly schedule of 37.5 hours is offered, including a paid 30-minute lunch each day.

Necessary qualifications and experience:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Recent experience in a school nursing or pediatric RN role preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and across age groups (EC-12)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and assessment skills
• Flexible, team-oriented mindset; comfortable with changing assignments

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide direct healthcare and assessment to students and staff as assigned
• Respond to health emergencies and administer first aid or medication
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with regulations
• Educate students, staff, and families on wellness, disease prevention, and health management
• Collaborate with educational and health professionals within the district
• Float between different school sites as needed
