Assignment Details:

  • Grade levels served: Early Childhood-12
  • Weekly guaranteed 37.5 hours with a paid 30-minute lunch break
  • Varying start & end times based on school assignments

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Experience in pediatric, community, or school health settings preferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools with varying caseloads
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and administrative teams
  • Quick thinking, empathy, and resourcefulness in addressing student health needs

What Youll Do:

  • Float to assigned schools as needed, supporting the district during a leave of absence
  • Deliver daily healthcare services for students (EC12), including medication administration, first aid, chronic disease management, and health education
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date student health records and documentation
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide emergency care and promote wellness campus-wide
