Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a unique part-time contract role supporting a preschool student with complex medical needs. This opportunity is based near Naperville, IL, and requires providing 1:1 care both during transportation and in a school setting. Working closely with a young learner who currently has a G-tube, trach, and ventilator, youll play an essential role in supporting their daily health and safety.

Schedule runs from August 18, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with hours from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, Tuesdays through Fridays. The day begins by meeting at the students home, accompanying them on the school bus, monitoring and attending to their medical needs throughout the afternoon at school, and returning on the bus home.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Demonstrated competency in caring for patients with G-tubes, trachs, and ventilators
  • Experience in critical care or similar high-acuity settings strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working independently and with preschool-aged children
  • Must be able to commit to part-time afternoon hours throughout the school year
