Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse PACU.

In this role, the successful candidate The Registered Professional Staff Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility for nursing care and outcomes for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process in collaboration with other members of the health team.

Administers medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy and procedure including blood administration.
Establishes priorities for patient care delivery and uses critical thinking skills coordinates and completes patient care responsibilities independently or by appropriately delegating.
Provides patient/family education and assists in discharge planning utilizing resources and considering patient/family readiness barriers and alternatives.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care based on physical psychosocial educational safety and age-related criteria pertinent to the patients served in his/her assigned area.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Must be a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program, Registered Nurse License-NYS, BLS Certification through the American Heart Association..

Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS, Basic Life Support Cert

Preferred Qualifications:

BLS required
ACLS, NIHSS and 8hr Stroke Education required within 3 months, PALS within 6 months

We seek home infusion field nurses (RNs) with experience in various infusion therapies, venous access, and phlebotomy for cases throughout the Lower Hudson Valley (Rockland County) Nurses are critical to the healthcare services we provide directly to clients. We are seeking to hire Registered Nurses whose direct support, knowledge, skills, and expertise will enable our company to grow, adapt, and expand into new areas of home-based nursing services. This infusion field nurse would be responsible for conducting patient visits to initiate patient care, performing follow-up visits as needed, and precepting and evaluating the skills of newly hired nurses as requested. The Home Infusion Nurse will partner with our Infusion Intake Team to ensure seamless initiation of infusion care in patients' homes. Qualifications: Applicants must have at least 3 years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience as a registered nurse in a home care infusion company, hospital, clinic, or medical facility Supervisory or managerial experience PREFERRED. Infusion experience is REQUIRED. MUST have experience infusion IV/SQIG and biologic medications! Knowledge of principles & practices of supervision, performance evaluation, and education. Knowledge of Federal HIPAA Regulations Knowledge of standard nursing policies, procedures, methods, and techniques. Ability to read and interpret clinical documents, including physicians' orders and treatment plans. Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary health care team.
