We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing to join our team at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at [Facility Name]. As the Director of Nursing, you will be a key member of our leadership team, overseeing nursing services and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management: Oversee and maintain high standards of care across all nursing services to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Compliance and Communication: Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards while fostering clear and effective communication among the nursing staff.
Resident Care Coordination: Assess and address the nursing needs of all residents, ensuring that personalized care plans are developed and followed.
Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on nursing theory and practices, sharing this knowledge with the team to ensure the best possible care.
Medical Records Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all medical documentation and resident records.
Staff Recruitment and Training: Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and orientation of new nursing staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide exceptional care.
Flexible Scheduling: Adapt to the dynamic needs of the facility with a flexible work schedule that supports both staff and residents.
Qualifications:
Current New York State RN license required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settings.
Proven experience in training and developing clinical staff.
Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative, positive work environment.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and prior supervisory experience.
