Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
  • One (1) year of training and program development experience
  • Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
  • Training: Intensified training in lactation
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • NRP
  • Current IBCLC or IBCLC Exam scheduled within one (1) year from date of hire

Sr Registered Nurse - Mother/Baby PRN

Location: Parkland: 6th FLR BLK 100 PRN PRIMARY PURPOSE The RN is a licensed professional who uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the health care team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response.
