Make a difference in the daily lives of young learners as an LPN – Health Office Assistant in an engaging elementary school environment. Utilize your skills and compassionate care to support students and staff, ensuring a safe and healthy atmosphere throughout the academic year.

Your day-to-day schedule runs from 9:00 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. This contract position begins at the end of August and continues through early June, offering consistency and the opportunity to build meaningful connections within the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license for the state of Minnesota (required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
  • Positive, proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Up-to-date resume must be provided at time of application

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer first aid, medication, and required health services to students as needed
  • Maintain accurate health records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Assist the health office with day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding students’ health needs
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies
  • Support ongoing health education initiatives within the school
