Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Minnesota (LSN credential highly desirable)
  • Previous experience in a school nursing or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working closely with staff, aids, parents, and students
  • Experience developing individualized health plans and presenting information to staff
  • Confidence with virtual meetings and trainings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate nursing services across six district buildings
  • Supervise and provide ongoing guidance and training to health aides, paraprofessionals, and other school staff
  • Create and update health care plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Serve as a liaison with parents and school personnel to address students health and wellness concerns
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Promote a school-wide culture of health, safety, and wellness
