Were hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a specialized 1:1 school nursing assignment supporting a high school student.

Position Details:

  • 1:1 support in a high school setting
  • Work directly with a student requiring complex medical care
  • Student uses a sip-and-puff wheelchair
  • Trach and ventilator support
  • Urinary catheterization required
  • Must be able to assist with lifting as needed
  • Collaborative school environment

Requirements:

  • Active Illinois RN license required
  • Prior school nursing experience REQUIRED
  • Prior experience with trachs and catheterization required
  • Must be comfortable providing care for a student with complex medical needs
  • Must be able to lift if needed
  • Prior critical care experience preferred
  • No LPNs
