Qualifications:
- Valid, active RN license and nurse certification
- Prior school-based nursing experience required
- Reliable transportation for travel to onsite school location
- Commitment to a fixed schedule; Fridays, 8:30am3pm (no accommodations for alternate schedules)
- Comfort supporting students with mobility needs and complex medical conditions
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document daily fluid intake
- Assist a high school student with wheelchair mobility and restroom support (student is independent with toileting)
- Administer a noon medication dose and carefully observe for any signs of sodium imbalance
- Provide attentive care throughout the school day, ensuring student safety and health
