The Nurse Technician Observer Float System Wide supports the Registered Nurse through observing and documenting patient conditions. Working under close supervision, this role assists with patient support through progressive mobility and assistance with daily tasks as needed. The primary focus of this role is in assisting to create a safe environment for patients at risk of suicide or self-harm. Essential Job Function Supports patients with daily living tasks, including meals, personal care, and progressive mobility in order to support the recovery and plan of care. Helps to maintain unit inventories of supplies and equipment in order to ensure a clean and safe environment in adherence to the National Patient Safety Goals.
