Your primary focus will be delivering attentive care while fostering a supportive environment where the student can thrive academically and socially. This position offers the stability of full-time hours and a compensation of $24 per hour.

Key Qualifications:

Current CNA license (Certified Nursing Assistant)
Experience providing direct care, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
Strong understanding of medical protocols and emergency procedures
Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and excellent communication with students, families, and staff
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable attendance and commitment to a full-time schedule

Role Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated, 1:1 support for a student with medical fragilities during the school day
Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to any medical needs or emergencies
Assist with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and other activities of daily living as needed
Document care and communicate effectively with teachers, school nurses, and family members
Support the student in participating fully in classroom and school activities
Uphold a safe, nurturing environment aligned with school policies
