Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our team at Maplewood Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and patient care planning
Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
Monitor and report on patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission requirements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and share best practices with the team
Provide leadership and mentorship to the nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations

Requirements

Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
Minimum 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with prior management experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the nursing staff
Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
