Responsibilities

We are actively hiring for an Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room.

 

  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA. 
  • Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care. 
  • Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care. 
  • Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care. 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 
  • One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred. 
  • Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings. 
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification. 
  • Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.   
  • Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification. 
  • Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION HealthPartners North Suburban Family Physicians has an exciting opportunity for a Triage RN to join our team! This .80 fte position will be based at our Lino Lakes clinic with potential for coverage at our Roseville or Hugoclinics. This position will work in clinic Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday days (start time between 7:45am – 8:30am and end time between 4:15pm – 5pm). This position provides triage support for our clinic at the North Suburban Family Physicians clinics by using protocols embedded in the electronic medical record and a variety of resources including standing orders and protocols. This position also includes occasionally working with patients that have questions or needs once on-site . In addition, this role provides comprehensive assessments to establish and evaluate a plan of care and address changes in a patient’s condition, delegates nursing tasks when appropriate and provides supervision and monitoring of function or activity, creates and implements dynamic teaching plans based upon identified patient need and acts as a resource for other staff. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current RN licensure in Minnesota Current RN licensure in Wisconsin (within two months of hire) Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
