Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a full-time contract school nursing position supporting a kindergarten student at Del Cerro Elementary in Mission Viejo, CA.

The LVN will provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day and support the student's specific medical needs. Experience with medically complex students and skills such as tracheostomy care, G-tube/enteral feeding, seizure management, and other specialized nursing needs are highly preferred.

Position Details

Full-time, school-based contract position
1:1 with a kindergarten student
MondayFriday, approximately 8:15 AM 2:30 PM
Assignment runs ASAP through the end of the school year
Work directly within the school setting as part of the student's care team
Provide ongoing monitoring and nursing support throughout the school day
Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals as needed

Qualifications

Active California LVN license
Pediatric, school nursing, or medically fragile experience preferred
Experience with trach, G-tube, or other complex medical needs strongly preferred
Comfortable providing one-on-one care
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently in a school environment
