Responsibilities

Administer medications and injections as ordered by providers. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens. Computerized physician order entry (CPOE) – Enter and send medication and test orders per provider instructions. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked. Provide information regarding procedures, medications, and follow-up care.
